Paul Lacy is a founder and strategic operator with more than 25 years’ experience building and scaling consumer brands, digital platforms and high-performance organisations.
He co-founded multi-award winning global stationery & lifestyle brand kikki.K and led the business as CEO through its growth from a single store to an international retail and e-commerce company with 120 stores across five countries, serving customers in more than 150 countries online. Over his leadership tenure, the business generated approximately A$650m in cumulative revenue and employed more than 1,500 people globally.
Paul has deep experience working with investors and boards, having led multiple capital raises across the lifecycle of the business with strategic and private equity partners. He's also led organisations through complex phases including rapid growth, international expansion, restructuring and ownership transition.
He's always been highly engaged with technology as a driver of competitive advantage. Paul built kikki.K’s first e-commerce platform in 2001 and continued leading digital transformation as the business scaled, ultimately growing the online channel into a significant global revenue stream.
When generative AI emerged, Paul didn't approach it as a tool - but as a strategic inflection point.
He began building private, custom GPT-powered systems to solve real business problems inside the companies he owned and advised. These systems were designed to improve decision quality, compress execution time and create compounding advantage for operators.
